Natural Dye Workshop
In this workshop, CQ Studios will explore a range of natural pigments and natural binders to screen print onto cotton scarves. You will create stencils for your own bespoke design and can have a range of colours to layer and create a sustainable design!Using in-house inks crafted from seaweed, food waste, and plants, learn how to produce textiles that are gentle on the planet. No prior experience in printing or design is necessary.
Key Learnings:
- Natural Ink Creation – Explore the process of making eco-friendly inks from seaweed, food waste, and plants.
- Stencil and Layering Techniques – Design and layer colors to create unique, multi-dimensional prints.
- Sustainable Textile Design – Gain insights into producing textiles that have a minimal environmental impact.
