Exhibition Opening: Abiogenesis by Sofia Malemina

19 November 2024

Exhibition Opening

In Abiogenesis, Sofia Malemina examines the inanimate emergence of life through the lens of biology and technology, inspired by Alexander Oparin’s theory. Using symbols like abstract microbes and pixels, her five-act video and sound installation traces life’s cycle: birth, growth, reproduction, death, and afterlife. Through chaotic yet interconnected scenes, Malemina’s work reflects on survival, complexity and interplay between life and technology, urging viewers to rethink existence and transformation itself.

Join us from 6pm to be one of the first to see the exhibition.
